Tokyo Crossover MV
Hello!
It'll have to be my wife's birthday for me to post another blog entry and finally finish editing our Tokyo video. Kidding. Hopefully, I post another one soon and overcome my innate laziness. I have lots of content planned in my head! Anyway, this video is the result of our serendipitous travel to Tokyo as mentioned in my previous blog post, Fate. Really enjoyed making this video as it helped mitigate the logistical "issues" that we faced during this trip (First World problems, much?). It's also a fine birthday gift of sorts.
About the video - Nighttime and indoor shots can still be improved but the biggest challenge in creating this video is finding the right music for it. After months of searching, I thankfully came across Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap and I knew it was perfect from the first listen. Used an iPhone 7 plus as my main camera and an iPhone 7 as back-up and both performed okay. Using a gimbal would dramatically improve the shake but there's always the next video to do that (which I did already!). Wish I had more shots (as always) but you work with what you have and the wife liked it and that's what really matters.
